Romania - The Transfagarasan

Transfagarasan
   Firs stop in the virtual trip around world i decide to make in Romania, and more exactly at the road who crosses Fagaras Mountains, the mountains with the high altitude from Romania ( 2544 m) and fuse 2 big regions Muntenia and Ardeal.

  You must visit this road ,because he have one of the big altitude from Europe (2042 m) , measuring 90 km and the entire road are 27 viaducts and bridges.Between Capra and Balea lake you can find the longest tunnel from Romania who crosses mountain Platinul. This road is one of the beautiful from Romania and a one of amazing road from Europe.

   If you are traveling in the East Europe don't forget to visit this road, the crossing of Transfagarasan manages to combine adrenaline caused by numerous serpentine with fantastic.Harmony of level differences,site asymmetry  and enchanting scenery ,manage to make u feel in another world.

If you decide to crossing Transfagarasan , you can visit Balea Lake, is an glacial lake and is a true wonder of nature.Balea Lake reaches a length of 360 meters, a width of 240 meters and a depth of 11 meters, is situated at an altitude of 2034 meters.During 2006 near the lake, was built the first ice hotel in Eastern Europe. During the summer you can practice rowing, and during winter, when water freezes, you can skate, play hockey or curling.
 
Balea Lake

Balea Cascada, another marvel of nature, is situated in the Fagaras Mountains, concerns of one of the most famous waterfalls in Romania. Balea Cascada is situated at an altitude of 1234 meters and the water flowing from a height of 68 meters.
  I think everyone heard about Vlad Tepes (Dracula). So you also can visit in this time the City Poienari recognized as one of the residences of Vlad Tepes.To visit this city is required crossing a road with more than 1000 steps.
