Castle Peles

I decide to remain in Romania to visit an beautiful place ,this is Castle Peles.

    Peles Castle is located in Sinaia, Prahova Valley was built on the place know as  Burn Rocks by Prince Charles of Hohenzollern in 1873.
    Peles Castle is the most impressive and most valuable castle in Romania, capturing the beauty, the elegance, the combination of styles, with its wealth and grandeur.
    The castle has 160 rooms, of which only 10 can be visited by tourists.
    Entry to the castle is through the hall of honor, built on three levels by Karel Liman.Here everything is an uncommon luxury, with walls paneled in walnut, with many statues of alabaster that presents Bible topics, historical, mythological.Stained glass windows are covered with scenes illustrating the allegorical and heraldic reasons.

In this castle you can visit  :

-Halls of weapons include an impressive collection of weapons, namely, over 4000 pieces and Eastern Europe, XVI-XVII century. Here can be admired and German armor suite, but also a gorgeous horse and rider complete armor (only one copy in Romania) ;

-Florence Hall, also known as the "Grand Salon" was first reception hall of the castle. The doors are from bronze, depicting floral elements of nature and female characters. Luxury and grandeur are completed in this room of two large chandeliers, a mirror and glass art, decorative type of Murano ;

-Maura Hall houses a beautiful marble fountain;

-Hall theater has 60 seats and a royal box. Turkish Salon walls are decorated with hand embroidery, being located here is a collection of Turkish and Persian in brass vessels.

-The concert hall is located on the 1st floor, lying here is a grand piano, an organ and a harpsichord.

-Royal Library contains a collection of rare books with leather covers and gold embossed letters. Here all lovers of reading found a place worthy of adulation. In the library there is a secret door behind a shelf, through which the king could go in other rooms of the Peles
